Trained by people who work live

pulsefya was created to teach live production the way it is really done: on a working deck, with a crew, against the clock.

Our story

A control room that doubles as a classroom

pulsefya began with a simple frustration: too many new operators only touched a real vision mixer on their first paid job. We built a training gallery where learners handle genuine multi-camera shows from the first week.

Today our courses cover multi-camera switching, live broadcasting techniques, real-time video operation and the professional management of television and streaming productions. Our tutors still work on live shows, so what you learn is what the industry is using now.

What we believe

Principles behind every session

Three ideas shape how we plan, teach and assess.

  • Learn by doing

Every session happens on a live deck. You cut, direct and manage real programmes rather than watching demonstrations.

  • Calm under pressure

Live television does not pause. We teach clear talkback, steady nerves and practical recovery when things go wrong.

  • Whole-crew thinking

Good operators understand every role in the gallery. You rotate through them all so you can work with any crew.
